怎麼用英語點餐

入座說 A table for two, please，開場說 Could I see the menu, please?，點餐用 I'd like the … 或 Could I have the … 這個句型。要更改就加上 without 或 with：Could I have the pasta without cheese, please? 有過敏就直接問：I'm allergic to nuts — does this dish contain any?

兩句就能應付菜單上大部分意外：菜單很長時問 What do you recommend?，某道菜聽起來只有一樣東西時問 Does this come with anything?。如果你有過敏，要在點餐前而不是點餐後說明，而且把問題問具體：I'm allergic to nuts — which dishes should I avoid?

在忙碌的餐廳裡，Could we have a few more minutes? 能替你爭取時間又不占著桌子；Could we get this to go? 則是問能不能打包的標準說法。
