How do I end a Q&A session in English?
End on time, with a sentence that closes the session rather than the topic: That is all the time we have. Thank you for the questions. If hands are still up, add the route out: If we did not get to yours, I will be here for ten minutes afterwards, and you can email me as well.

If hands are still up, add the route out: If we did not get to yours, I will be here for ten minutes afterwards, and you can email me as well. Then hand the room back: I will hand back to the chair. A session that ends without that hand-back leaves the room unsure whether it is over.
Questions you did not reach need a home the audience can find. Ask a colleague to write them down during the session, answer the short ones in the follow-up note you were going to send anyway, and route the rest to the person who owns the topic. Posting those answers in the meeting notes or the project channel ends the session twice: once in the room, once in writing.
