How can I tell whether an app session includes spoken output?

Oct 19, 2026
Short answer

Check what you actually did: spoke into a supported input, spoke separately, listened, read silently, or tapped text. A session label alone does not answer that question. Note the spoken task and any recording you can retain. If no spoken attempt occurred, describe the activity accurately before deciding how to add one.

If you intend to use audio, check the particular mode before planning around it. Find out whether you can submit speech, listen back, and complete the response you intended. If it accepts only text, you can still speak separately and label the typed exchange accurately. Do not infer voice support from a general description of conversation practice.
