Can I memorize sample answers for Part 3?

Oct 26, 2026
Short answer

No.

No. Part 3 is abstract and follow-up driven, so a memorized answer only fits the question it was written for. Memorize the structure instead, and let the words be yours.

Examiners are trained to notice recited answers, and the tell is usually a mismatch: a fluent, general answer to the question you were asked, followed by a stumble when the follow-up goes somewhere the script did not cover. A memorized answer also stops you listening, which is the one skill Part 3 actually needs.
