How can I practice an English job interview before the real one?
Record your own introduction first, then practise the parts you cannot control: follow-up questions, interruptions, and questions you cannot answer.
Record your own introduction first, then practise the parts you cannot control: follow-up questions, interruptions, and questions you cannot answer. Answering ten real interview questions out loud, twice each, teaches more than reading any list of tips, and the two pages linked above give you question sets and workplace phrasing. Rehearse standing up, in the clothes you plan to wear, at least twice before the day itself, and keep the last rehearsal the day before so that the wording is still fresh.
Keep a fallback sentence ready for a question you cannot answer: ask for a moment, then restate the question in your own words. Recording a full mock interview from start to finish also shows where your pace changes, something that rehearsing a single question hides.
