|---|---|---|---|
| 一 | 试探这个日期是目标还是承诺 | Is the fourteenth fixed, or can it move?
| 二 | 指出一个约束,但不评判计划 | My concern is the four days of testing after the build.
| 三 | 提出一个替代方案 | What if we ship the core flow on the fourteenth and the reporting view a week later?
| 四 | 明确说出你不同意,只说一次 | I don't think the fourteenth is achievable, and I'd rather say that now than miss it.

|---|---|---|
Is the fourteenth fixed, or can it move? |
Can I ask what the fourteenth is tied to?
How firm is that date on your side? |
My concern is the four days of testing after the build. |
I'm not sure the numbers add up on testing. |
Where I get stuck is the vendor handover. |
What if we ship the core flow on the fourteenth and the reporting view a week later? |
Could we keep the date and drop the second review round? |
Would it help if I took the vendor calls for two weeks? |
I don't think the fourteenth is achievable, and I'd rather say that now than miss it.
I have to say I disagree with the date, for the reason I gave. |
I'll commit to the plan either way, but I want my objection on the record. |
I don't think that works.
像 a bit、possibly 和 I think 这样的软化词是日常礼貌用语,而 could 和 would 这样的过去形式会让请求不那么直接。
That date is tight. That date might be a bit tight on testing. We need to move the date. Could we look at moving the date?
We finish on the eleventh and testing needs four days.
You: Is the fourteenth fixed, or can it move?Manager: It's the date we promised the client. You: My concern is the four days of testing after the build. We finish on the eleventh and one tester is on leave.Manager: We can test faster if we need to.You: What if we ship the core flow on the fourteenth and the reporting view a week later?Manager: I'd rather keep one date. You: I don't think the fourteenth is achievable, and I'd rather say that now than miss it.You: I'll commit either way, but I want my objection on the record. Could we check the testing numbers on Monday?

If we hold the fourteenth, I'll flag the testing risk in Monday's update.
Can I add one thing on the timing?,然后用一句话说出一个要点。
